Crestron UC-CX100-T Resolution Issue

Q: Why does the MTR app force a 1080p resolution even after I've used the XML file to change it?

A: When the MTR app is initiated, it conducts a vertical resolution inquiry. If the app detects any resolution other than "1080" from the MTR unit, it enforces a 1080p resolution, overriding any other settings.

Q: How can I get the Crestron UC-CX100-T to support a resolution of 2560 x 1080 with the Pana?

A: To achieve this:

Activate the On-Screen Display (OSD).

Navigate to the "Advanced" option and then select "HDMI Version."

Switch the HDMI setting from 2.0 to 1.4.

Ensure this adjustment is made for the specific HDMI input to which the Crestron unit is connected, especially for Touch Pana models.

Upon doing this, the Pana should automatically negotiate to a resolution of 2560 x 1080 with the Crestron MTR unit.

Q: Will these changes correct the resolution mismatch issue?

A: Yes. Combining the HDMI version adjustment with the H/V Stretch settings should rectify the resolution discrepancy.
